Theresa Hildreth, the Houston-based author behind the Teeda Says children’s book series, is featured in a recent magazine spotlight sharing the inspiration behind her stories, her connection to family and community, and the life lessons at the heart of each book. Known as “Teeda” to her five grandchildren, Theresa created the series to help children learn important values through relatable, meaningful storytelling.

The feature also highlights the newest book in the series, Teeda Says, “Be Loyal & Loving,” and Theresa’s collaboration with Houston PetSet. Inspired by a shared passion for animals, the story introduces young readers to fostering, adoption, compassion, and the role they can play in helping animals in need.
